Have used DesignCad for many years and made various applications. Want to recompile older applications to DesignCad 2D ver.25 using Visual Studio 2019. DesignCad doesn't appear in tap COM under Reference Manager. When browsing to DcadExp25x64.tlb a fault comes up: "A reference to ...DcadExp25x64.tlb could not be added. Please make sure that the file is accessible, and that it is a valid assembly or COM component. Any suggestion what to do?

You can't use type libraries. Add the corresponding designcad.dll. That works.

Thank you, Juergen, I really appreciate you help :)
I have now attached DcadExp25x64.dll in MVS 2019 as reference. But as you can see from the attached snap shot DesignCAD.Application is not defined. The definition: DcApp=DesignCADApplication_definst.Application comes from an earlier version of Visual Studio and DesignCAD.

Do you know how to make a correct definition so I can have my program compiled and working? The bin-folder in Solution Explorer have files which comes from an earlier version of Visual Studio and DesignCAD.
